Can I book any airline?
We currently have access to more than 500 airlines worldwide. There are a few airlines that we do not currently sell through our site, such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Southwest Airlines and a few smaller carriers. This list does change and will be updated as those changes occur. If you wish to book with these airlines please contact the call centre. If the airline you're looking for is a charter airline (like JMC or Airtours), please use our charter airline search instead.

What about charter flight operators like JMC or Airtours?
These airlines can be found and booked through our charter, or Late Deals, airline search page.

Why can't I find all flights?
We search for scheduled carrier fares based on price. We will show you up to five of the cheapest available fares from our own database, and four fares as quoted directly from the airline reservations system. Our flight search is based around the preferred flight time you choose. If you would like more options, try entering another time of departure. If you're looking for charter flights, try our charter airline search page.

Why do other companies sometimes offer lower prices?
There are a few reasons for this: A small number of low-cost airlines such as Go and EasyJet do not currently participate in the airline reservation system we use. To make reservations with those airlines, you must contact our call centre or call those specific airline offices directly. Some travel companies buy blocks of seats from airlines, which allows them more flexibility when selling those seats.

I know there's a flight on this airline at this time, but you don't list it. Why not?
We show you only those flights that have seats available for your party size. All seats on the flight you're looking for have already been sold, or there aren't enough seats left for your party size.

What do the Advanced Flight Options do?
We recommend you leave as many of these options open as you can, as it will increase your chances of finding the lowest fares. Airline: If you have a preference for a certain airline, please type it in this box. This may restrict you from many search results, and hence the lowest prices. It may also mean that we occasionally find no results, as the airline may not fly the route, or may do so only on certain dates. Non-Stop only: This will show only non-stop flight options for your chosen route. It may not be possible to fly non-stop on certain routes, in which case you will probably get no results. It is often cheaper to fly with connecting flights than non-stop. Fares with least restrictions: These fares are almost always more expensive, as they allow more flexibility for changes and cancellations after ticketing. Fares with no advance-purchase restrictions: Again, these fares may be more expensive, as they can be purchased at any time up to the date of travel.

I don't know the name of my destination/departure airport. Can I search by region, state or country?
Yes. In fact, we will accept all searches, by country, state or region, city, airport name or airport code. For example, with regard to the following destinations: 'Washington' will return all airports with the word 'Washington' in them 'Washington DC' will return all airports in the U.S. city of 'Washington DC' 'Washington State' will return all airports in Washington State 'Goa' will prompt you to specify 'India' or 'Italy', as GOA is also the three-letter airport code for Genoa 'Peru' will return all airports in the country of Peru Our only restriction is that we will not return more than 50 airports in any given search because the results would become far too unwieldy!

What is Premium Economy?
This is also known as World Traveller Plus (on British Airways) and Evergreen Deluxe (on Eva Air). It gives you more leg room than standard Economy class.

Why does my itinerary say there are seats available, but when I go to reserve them, it says none are available?
Because we are using a real-time reservation database, availability can change between the time an itinerary is created and a ticket is reserved or purchased. Tickets are constantly being sold around the world, so a flight may become fully sold out only seconds after your search. The same applies to hotel rooms and car rentals.

Is my credit card number safe?
We use the Secure Sockets Layer encryption on all of our booking pages. SSL encodes all your personal information so that it is accessible only to you and us. We will use your information to ensure all documents are issued correctly and payments are secure. This encryption makes doing business over the Internet more secure than making a purchase by telephone.

How can I book a scheduled flight more than 11 months in advance?
The airlines publish their fares on booking systems, which we connect to in order to give you a quote. The furthest in advance that an airline will publish a fare is 11 months.
Why can't I buy a ticket less than 4 days in advance?
You can, but because of processing and delivery times, not through the website. If you would like to travel on a flight within the next four days, please contact our call centre, which may be able to arrange collection of your ticket at the airport or courier delivery, where possible.

How do I make a group booking?
If you wish to book a flight for more than 9 people, please email reservations with the departure/arrival dates, number of passengers, standard of hotel, and any special requirements, and we will be happy to give you a quote.

Can I pay a deposit now and the rest at a later date?

What do I need to do if I've been issued with an e-ticket?
Ticketless travel is becoming more widespread and is more efficient than sending out paper tickets. All you need to do is bring your booking reference to the check-in desk. The best way of doing this is to print out your email confirmation, or the confirmation booking page, and bring it with you.
When will I receive my tickets?
Wherever possible, electronic tickets (e-ticket) will be issued free of charge and details sent to you electronically
When this is not possible the following charges and delivery methods apply:
- If your departure date is more than 7 days from booking your documents will be sent via 1st class mail and a delivery fee of £1.90 will apply.
- If your departure date is 7 days or less from booking date then your documents will be sent via Special Delivery and a fee of £7.50 will apply.
If the above options are not available we will arrange a Ticket on Departure. We will charge a £30 surcharge in addition to any charges applied by the airline, which will be automatically applied to your booking after confirmation.
We can only take bookings for customers who can provide a UK delivery address which must be the same as the credit card billing address.
PLEASE CONTACT US NO LATER THAN TWO WORKING DAYS BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. FAILURE TO DO THIS MAY RESULT IN EXTRA CHARGES BEING LEVIED BY THE AIRLINE.

Can I amend or cancel my reservation once it has been ticketed?
How do I transfer my ticket into another name?
It is not possible to change the name of the passenger on an airline ticket. The ticket will have to be cancelled and a new ticket will need to be issued. Cancellation penalties will apply (see below).
Please review your information carefully and make sure that the name of each passenger is entered correctly before booking any flight.
Can I use just the return portion of my ticket?
You are required to use all flight coupons in order of sequence. If you do not travel on the outbound flight and this requirement is not met the airline may cancel the ticket and any subsequent flights booked.
I have requested a refund. How long does it take to process?
Most tickets are non-changeable/non refundable.
If applicable, we will cancel your reservation upon receiving instructions in writing (please use our online Contact Us form). If your ticket is refundable, we require you to send tickets by Recorded Delivery to:
Ticketing Cancellations and Refunds Department
OTC
Victoria Gate
Chobham Road
Woking
Surrey GU21 6JD
Once tickets are received by us, refunds can take 6-10 weeks if we need to liaise with the airline. Please note we cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of tickets if Recorded Delivery is not used.
In other cases your refund will be with you within 7-10 working days.
My name is spelt incorrectly on my ticket
It is not possible to change the name of the passenger on an airline ticket. The ticket will have to be cancelled and a new ticket will need to be issued. Cancellation penalties will apply (see below).
When booking, please review your information carefully and make sure that the name of each passenger is entered correctly. If there is a minor error after you have placed a booking, please contact us in writing (please use our online Contact Us form) with the correct spelling. We will need to contact the airline to request a name change; we cannot guarantee that they will be able to make the change.
I want to change the date of travel
If changes are permitted to your booking, the airline may charge an amendment fee. In addition we will charge an administration fee of £45 per person.
In some instances the airline may not permit changes.
I want to cancel my ticket
Most low priced tickets are completely non-refundable, but in some cases airlines will charge a cancellation fee if you wish to cancel your booking. In addition we will charge an administration fee of £45 per person. For this reason we recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance.
Can I receive a refund of taxes on my non-refundable ticket?
All refunds are subject to an administration fee of £45 per person.

How do I find the cheapest fare?
- Make sure your trip includes a Saturday-night stay
- Don’t fly on the busiest days of the week (i.e. Friday)
- Don’t fly at the busiest times (before 10 a.m.)
- Don’t specify a preferred airline
- Use the same airline out and back
- Be prepared to go via another airport en route
- If you’re going to a package holiday destination, try looking for a charter flight as
well
- If you’re planning on purchasing accommodation at your destination, try our Build Your Own
Holiday search instead of the flights-only search, or contact our call centre. By combining a
hotel with a flight in the same purchase, you will get access to our special ‘inclusive tour’
airfares and hotel rates.
